PHILIPPINES SUPPORT PROJECT
Acupuncture Relief for the Philippines Pacific College is supporting Acupuncture Relief Efforts in the Philippines after the recent disaster there by serving as a U.S. Acupuncture supply collection depot.
Reports from the Philippines Acupuncture Relief are that they are going through 8,000-10,000 needles daily in just one area. If you or your patients would like to assist with Acupuncture Relief for survivors in the Philippines, you can do any of the following:
1. Drop off supplies at any of the three PCOM campuses 2. Send supplies to the San Diego Campus clinic (7445 Mission Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92108 Suite 105San Diego, CA 92108)3. Order supplies from Llhasa OMS for this effort at (800)722-8775. The account is 228542 (orders must be by phone), and Llhasa will take care of getting the supplies to us. There's no charge for the shipping and no tax unless you live in Massachusetts. Thanks to Mike Bailey and Llhasa/OMS for their contributions and commitment to this project and to Acupuncture Relief worldwide.
Needed supplies (in good condition) are 1/2 inch and 1 inch needles, moxa sticks, sharps containers, and the like.
Thanks to PCOM alumnae Wendy Henry and Marcella Robinson and to CRREW for organizing this effort.

More updates sooon.........................
Hello NADA Family,
I am still breathing! Don't worry!
First things first, We just concluded our 5th Acupuncture Conference doctors and non-doctors and my NADA presentation on disaster, which I presented at Graz, Austria was very timely and GREAT!
Left the audience in tears, the whole auditorium was very silent, all ears to my presentation! Everyone Appreciated NADA Philippines. Many came up to me after wanted to be trained. WOW!
Okay, we are slowly but surely organizing teams now for the Visayas. We are scheduled to go to Zamboanga December 2 to 7 for again medical mission to the victims of war as agreed upon and promised to Fr. Karel and staff, counselors, psychologists, doctors of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University. It will be again a combination of training and medical mission. Lissie is team leader.
Okay that is December yet.
Just now a NADA team has been dispatched to Villamor Airbase. The airforce pilots bringing internally displaced filipinos from the Visayas have been coming in and coming in from this airbase, there are more than 20,000 of them already.,
Target today are First Responders and the displaced filipinos. Displaced filipinos who have no relatives are brought to a halfway house, this is our target area for acudetox. Very good there has been a lot of volunteers with vehicles from the airbase who takes the victims to their destination, relatives, friends.
OMG! NADA training starts tomorrow, I have to be there. Maybe practicum can be done in the half way houses.
Next week, Dra. Lao and her team of doctors are doing to Tacloban together with NADA. They will meet today and update us on details. I am looking for teamleaders for this group. A lot of ADSes are volunteering but I need someone strong, committed, can withstand the rigors and difficulty at the site, it can be depressing as mass graves are now being dug.
OKAY Wendy and company, just STANDBY..................... we might, might might ask you to go depends on the situation.
I will update you all again. This for now, please continue to pray for us. And with regards to the needle drive and monetary contribution kindly kindly kindly send to this address:
